I stayed at the hotel and found it to be conveniently located for business meetings in Port of Spain. The room I was initially assigned was on an unmodernized floor without coat hangers and no refrigerator. The new room provided had old carpet, an uneven floor, and poor soundproofing. The service was fantastic, especially from housekeeping, but they didn't address complaints about the lack of internet connection. The location is ideal for downtown access, with some loose fixtures in the shower. The dining experience was decent, with buffet style and a made-to-order egg station. The facilities were satisfactory but had minor maintenance issues.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The king guest room I received was wonderful and well-kept, but it was not what I originally booked. The blinds were broken, the bathtub was dirty and spoiled, and there were issues with dirty water coming out of the pipe and the shower due to short blinds. However, I enjoyed the nice location and relaxing poolside experience, only wishing for a bit more lighting in the somewhat dingy room that smelled moldy.
The hotel offers very spacious rooms with nice windows, comfy beds, and super clean bathrooms. However, there were some dust issues, drainage problems in the sink and shower, and a musty smell in the rooms and bed linen.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and modern, although a bit musty. The service was extremely helpful and courteous, and the staff even extended my check out time for my birthday. The location was ideal for accessing local transit and food. The dining experience was very tasty and plentiful, perfect for early travelers.
